Feeling pretty stupid but learned a valuable lesson. Once one steals something, should never go back where you did the deed until after you've used it. IT (the hammer) got put back and had to swipe it all over again and never noticed it was missing from my inventory. Sorry! Here's my amended inventory.
26 Bronze Coins
/ Guard's Sword
/ Tinderbox
/ Portrait
/ Blanket
9 Red Gemstones
/ Stone of Strengthening
/ Torch
/ Clear Focus Stone
10 Black Gemstones
/ Food Rations
/ Wire Clippers
/ Crate
6 Apples
/ Rope
/ Key of Opening
/ Hammer

BTW, been in that shack at home and left the door open. I think I sold the key?
I got the apples with my home-made torch on my last visit to my home town. I really don't know what I need to do now. Can't get anyone in the castle to talk to me other than repeated remarks. Some folks (blooddrops) won't speak with me at all anymore. Getting a complex and checking my deordorant. ha ha ha. Please help. Any tips would be appreciated about now.
