Vague guesses at the death toll

I've seen newspapers guessing at anywhere between 5,000 and 20,000 dead.

There were, last I heard, 800 Pentagon employees unaccounted for.

There were a total of 266 people (If I remember that correctly) on the four planes.

Major Guiliani has aparrently ordered 6,000 body bags. I assume these are in addition to however many New York already has on hand.

Based on the number of calls to their helpline, Her Majesty's Goverment believes there were "hundreds" of British citizens are amongst the dead. I'll allow you to decide what tiny percentage that represents.

winter"I would be suprised if it comes to less than 10,000"mute
