Well, I actually have a survival story, but its not the crashes, but from the WTC. My roommate's friend goes to college in NYC and on Tuesday her math class was supposed to meet on the first floor of the WTC (don't know which one) at 8:30. But before she left, she checked her e-mail and saw that her professor wouldn't be able to go, so the trip to the WTC was called off. So she didn't go thankfully. If she hadn't checked her e-mail, she would have been somewhere in the WTC when the planes hit. I guess she's lucky she checked her e-mail.

Mar "But what of the people who didn't check their e-mail?" vin
