608. change for a dollar, part 2To: <sam@rinkworks.com>
Subject: incorrect puzzle answer Date: Sun, 27 Dec 2009 09:27:20 -0600 Discrete logic puzzle #6 asks what is the greatest amount of change you can have without having change for a dollar. It's answer is $1.19 - 3 quarters 4 dimes and 4 pennies. This is incorrect. It should be $1.24 - 1 quarter and 99 pennies. (unless you count 50cent = coins... but I understand why you wouldn't) To: <sam@rinkworks.com> Subject: Date: Sun, 27 Dec 2009 09:29:00 -0600 Disregard my last e-mail. |
