Regarding story on http://www.rinkworks.com/stupid/cs_drives.shtml "Customer: "Can you put some more hard drive space on a floppy and bring it over to my office?"" It's quite possible to reformat 5.25" floppy to 1.457.664b (3.5" capacity) and use it without problems. I've done it on about 100 disks without encountering any errors. Misread a couple of words in the quoted anecdote, and this response makes sense. |
