Subject: The Enchanted Forest Date: Tue, 16 Sep 2008 17:32:23 -0400 Your "survey" causes me to spend extra time getting to "run"; then I have to "fight". Once I take the survey, it should disappear. Please make it do so. From: The Rink <sam@rinkworks.com> Subject: Re: The Enchanted Forest Date: Wed, 17 Sep 2008 11:03:52 -0400 Huh? I have no idea what survey you're talking about. All I can imagine is that you clicked on an ad that brought up a survey. I don't present any surveys during Enchanted Forest. The only survey I run is a Demographic Survey, which is only presented to you if you purposely click on it from the main RinkWorks page. I'm quite sure that's not what you're talking about. Also, your success at attempting to run away from monsters is not time-dependent. That is, you could let your browser sit for a year if you wanted, then clicked 'run', and still have the same chances of escaping the monster as if you pressed on the button immediately. It's purely a random chance as to whether or not you escape from the monster. It's a gamble: sometimes you get away, and sometimes you don't. Thank you for the information in your 2nd paragraph. Another question: what makes the game "abort early...you died"? random also? That's just an ad. You don't have to click on it if you don't want to. > Thank you for the information in your 2nd paragraph. > Another question: what makes the game "abort early...you died"? random > also? That happens when you click the "End Game" button. There's nothing random about that. |
