The anecdote in the Screen Savers section about the Little Mermaid
screen saver, I read it and just had to say something, the guy who
submitted that must be not a thinker himself, any image left on a screen
long enough will burn into a monitor, or in fact, a still image on a TV
screen can burn onto the screen after a long long time, I've seen it.
And even so, how could it be the designer's fault that they left the
monitor on showing those words for such a long time? You can't possibly
design an image that burns itself into a monitor, what stupidity...

but your site is great, amazing, keep up the good work

The Computer Stupidities anecdote in question bemoans the stupidity of the author of a screen saver that displays a fixed, unmoving copyright message and therefore does a pretty terrible job of saving the screen. This guy who emailed me obviously didn't read that anecdote very closely.
