He was 36 years old - so, yes, far too young. :(

As well as posting a link to his LiveJournal in this forum, I also did the inverse - I linked to this forum thread from the comments on his LiveJournal. I hope his family will look, as well.

Sam mentioned in RinkChat that Beasty, of all people, would have been the last to want us to be gloomy. He's right, of course.

When you do finally work up the courage to look at his journal, Howard, I promise you you are going to be amazed. He really was optimistic and strong about the whole thing. Of course, we know that from his RinkForum posts here as well.
