I am stunned. I had just made a light-hearted post about the Reader Poll and the next click, this hits me. At the first mention of his journal I started wondering how I could find it. Then up pops a link and I can't look. Maybe in a few days.

When it happens to someone my age, it is less of a jolt, but Andy was so young.

Just days ago, we learned that our daughter-in-law has aggressive breast cancer. She is 48. It seems like these thing happen in bunches. I try to think about all of my friends and family who have beaten cancer, but that is not much help right now.

I hope his family will visit RinkWorks and see how well he was liked even by people who never met him.
