Also by beating the first boss on level zero, or failing that leveling up only from chests and pools. Or so is my faint memory of how one gains Experience in MR. I just checked, and it turns out I haven't played in over 2 1/2 years.

Hey Sam, if you're reading this, did anyone surpass my total number of moves in MR? I believe I was at 467,652 at last count.
