Except for Jean Luc Picard, all of the regular characters are uptight and kind of dull (on all three series--TNG, DS9, and V). Maybe that's why everybody likes Q so much---he can actually tell a joke. I see it as the future, if the Beatles and Iggy Pop never existed. Except for Jordi's love for Spanish Guitar, they all listen to boring ambient music. Or they run a holodeck program with Perry Como or whomever. And they're sort of snobby. Oh well....I still love them. > > --Jez"I think I'll turn this into a journal entry on my neglected website"zika
I wouldn't say Tom Paris is snobby, on the Holodeck on voyager he created a bar, a tropical resort (with Harry and Nelix's help), a 1940's era Buck Rogers-esque series, and a 3-D movie theater. Also we know Paris likes boats, old (20th century) vehicles, TV, and Rock and Roll.
  Sen'likes Paris's taste'try
