I have always loved the new Star Trek series, but I recently realized something---all the characters are so prissy! Except for Jean Luc Picard, all of the regular characters are uptight and kind of dull (on all three series--TNG, DS9, and V). Maybe that's why everybody likes Q so much---he can actually tell a joke. I see it as the future, if the Beatles and Iggy Pop never existed. Except for Jordi's love for Spanish Guitar, they all listen to boring ambient music. Or they run a holodeck program with Perry Como or whomever. And they're sort of snobby. Oh well....I still love them.
