This is scary. Just earlier today I was making this same point to a friend of mine.

For example, I don't think there has even been a better candy bar than the original Whatchamacallit. (Snickers, Zero, and Bar None come close. But I digress.) Crispy, chocolaty, lotsa texture ... just perfect. And then the powers that be added caramel, ruining the whole essence of the bar.

Caramel is great. I like caramel. But really, not every candy has to include it. Let us crispness fans have our share of the candy market too!
