Sinbad Comic: Episode 8: Basra, Part 2

The "What am I doing back there?" joke doesn't quite work. I wanted to do a joke about doubles for one of the wide frames, which are actually two movie frames spliced together to form a wider picture than you ever see in the movie. Here, the spliced frames come from tracking shots that follow characters travelling through a crowd. Both frames have the same character in it, so, after splicing, they appear twice.

But this scene has so much motion and blur and foreground movement that it was hard to get two *good* frames of the same character that I could splice together. The fifth panel is the best I could do: if you look closely, you can see how the guy with the camel is also visible through the cart in the foreground (note his waistband).

You can also see this occur in the last wide panel. The kid with his hand on his head is visible to the far left, but he's also visible just behind the woman saying, "Sure is a fine-looking spankin' machine."
