I don't know what you're getting at.  "If romance is 'bad,' what does it
lead to?"  But what's where it leads to got to do with how one gets there?
"How To Be Romantic" has nothing to say about the end or purpose.  Actually
it really doesn't have anything to say at all; it's purely a work of
observational humor.

Sorry I can't give you a real answer to your question, but I'm a bit confused
by it.

Sometimes you should just stick with short words.
