I've seen this movie once when it was on TV and liked it (as a sci-fi fan)
although I didn't really understand enough what was going on! (lol)
Did you think Johnny M. was that bad, too?

I am now heading to read what Jabootu has to say, because it's been so long
ago that I've seen it and I really don't rememeber it being that bad!

What I remember that I liked:
1. The fact that Johnny (Keanu) has to dump some data from his brains before
it kills him. (He has a time limit! Wow!)
2. Keanu's VR-like interaction with a computer from the future. (opening
files using his hands, etc)
3. The "laser" whip weapon that can cut through metal
4. The dolphin that can "speak" using a sort of computerized headset that
translates its chirps into human speech. (I always knew that those creatures
were smart! No, really, they ARE smart mammals...It's been proven!)

And that's all I remember...

I am off to jabootu!

P.S.Too bad "Johnny Mnemonic" not on your website! It scored bad even on
IMDB.COM!

Omigosh...that movie was worse than I thought!
I guess that I kinda grew numb...(I didn't even get the "Dr. Allcome"
thing!)

But thanks to "Jabootu" I remember I really didn 't like the "Street
Preacher"! (I still find that he kills the fun of even viewing the
movie!)

But to cheer you up I have some funny videos for ya!

It seems inconceivable that this isn't spam, plugging Jabootu and that streaming video site. And yet it seems to be personal rather than mass email, particularly given how the second email naturally follows the first. It's also on topic: although I do have a review of Johnny Mnemonic on At-A-Glance Film Reviews, he's undoubtedly talking about It's a Bad Bad Bad Bad Movie. So I don't quite get this weird (though friendly and courteous, it must be said) ramble.
