517. Lying Like a DogTo: dave@rinkworks.com, sam@rinkworks.com
Subject: Fantasy Novelist Exam mistake Date: Fri, 07 Sep 2007 19:47:24 Hello, I was reading your wonderful, brilliant Fantasy Novelists exam, when I came across "33. Is your name Robert Jordan and you lied like a dog to get this far?" I wondered what this meant for a while, but I was recently reading an article of the late Frank Herbert, famous for Dune, which said he "lied about his age in order to get his first newspaper job on the Glendale Star". I was wondering if you meant Frank Herbert instead of Robert Jordan, because I don't see anything about Robert Jordan lying about anything anywhere. Thank you for your time (and the awesome site!) |
