Dear Sir/Madam,

We are preparing an English text book series for Classes 1 to 8. It is intended
to be a low-cost book, meant for school children in India. It is our endeavour
to include contemporary and authentic pieces in  English specially written for
children rather than use pieces which have been simplified for children.

We would like to include the following prose, which we understand is your
copyright. We will acknowledge the source of the copyright material in our book.

For Class 3:
A very Sad Tooth by Samuel Stoddard from Fairy Tale Stew

We would appreciate it if you could let us have your response to our request
for the permission at the earliest.
