Subject:  words made up of two different words

Trying to determine what you call it, where two different words are
joined together to make a different word.

Examples:
Cat+fish = catfish
Frog+man= frogman
rock+fish=rockfish

I'm creating unique metal craft items where I can put the two different
things together to make a craft item.  I'm running out of creative ideas
and decided to give this a whorl for awhile.
