one time for my birthday my kissin' cousin got me a doggy wistle.
i looked over at my sister and she was rolling in the grass

When I read this at a RinkUnion, we basically discovered that the expression "kissin' cousin" isn't as universal as I thought. Moreover, I thought I knew what it meant, and for some reason I was wrong. It refers to cousins so distantly related, they could marry.
