The lists are most certainly not meant to be comprehensive.  There are upwards
of 50,000 movies, two or three times depending on how wide you cast the net.

The Film-Lover's Check List is for films that are significant somehow, whether
the work of a particularly high regarded director, an award-winner, or simply
one that is commonly recognized as achieving greatness.
