My question is will it work in smash or just the old AGLL? Where can I download or pay for games to run in our games area. I like the ones on your site. Will be listening for a response. So here's the story on this one. Apparently somebody, unbeknownst to me, wrote a bulletin board system called bbv2 and a Perl module add-on that would interpret AGLL code and let you play AGLL games (not Smash) within the bulletin board system. That doesn't make much sense to me anyway, but the clincher is that it was riddled with bugs. Constant options, for example, would never even show up. Well, gremlinn and I spent a week or two talking to this guy about various AGL-related stuff -- how to write games in Smash, showing him Rex, how unacceptably buggy the bbv2 module was, and so on. Then, after all that, here comes this. He's got bbv2 installed somewhere, and can he have the code to our games so he can play them? Aargh. |
