From: David Parker <bigdave928@yahoo.com> Subject: Re: (no subject) Date: Fri, 1 Mar 2002 23:40:04 -0800 (PST) You stupid moron, if you had more than four working braincells you MIGHT have noticed that the review was for the 1978 ANIMATED VERSION of "The Lord of the Rings" not the recent LIVE ACTION version. Go away, you insane retard. -- Dave From: sam@rinkworks.com (Samuel Stoddard) Subject: Re: (no subject) Date: Sat, 2 Mar 2002 08:18:39 -0800 (PST) Wow. In our chat room on RinkWorks, on occasion, some of us like to deliberately speak illiterately and emulate the insane typing habits of complete idiots that get on the Internet and clutter up message boards and chat rooms with the subliterate language that results when one types as if one were wearing boxing gloves. You've just done a better job of that than I could ever fake. I've seen a lot of bad writing on the Internet, but rarely have I ever seen such a hilarious combination of random capitalization, over-enthusiastic punctuation, and callous disregard for typos and spelling, not to mention utter obliviousness to the fact that such things as courtesy might even exist. In short, your idiocy amazes me, and that is no small feat. I commend you. To set the facts straight, however, I'm afraid you're mistaken about which movie our review criticizes. When you read "1978" you appear to have misread this as "2001." When you read "Ralph Bakshi," you appear to have misread it as "Peter Jackson." When you read "animated movie," somehow your cognitive powers, or lack thereof, interpreted this to mean "live-action." Don't feel bad. Anybody could have made the same mistakes. Well, not anybody with nonzero reading comprehension or the smallest penchant for rational thought, but you know what I mean. Ouch. |
