dear sir, the reason i am writing you is to educate you even just a tad, you
see i laugh so hard when i see stupidity, in any way shape or form, and your
review of rear window is the stupidest thing i have ever heard, it ranks up
there with chuck d  of public enemy saying that elvis presley sucks, you see
the real fact is that chuck d  of public enemy is a piece of ****** **** and
a stupid ****, anyway back to your stupid thinking on the film classic  rear
window, one day when you get an education and start to learn about life in
general, you will realize what an idiot you were when you said that rear
window is supposed to be an action film?  are you totally a moron? and then
talking about arnold and today's action movies and stars? you are the most
idiotic moron i have ever seen!!!!  only educated people can see that rear
window is a masterpiece! you, on the other hand  are a ***********, get my
point? i will laugh for days at your stupidity and maybe just maybe you will
gain an ounce of common sense, no way, forget it you are hopeless, go on
reviewing movies just like you do, some people are not meant to be smart,
the world would not be a great place if we didnt have dummies and smart
people, variety is the spice of life as they say, so thank you for giving me
a laugh at the very least, for your plain dumb *** review of a genius film,
thanks but no thanks, and dont quit your day job.

Heh.  You might want to read that review a little more carefully.
Specifically,
read the last line.  If that doesn't drive the point home, note that the
date that that review was posted was April 1st.

you really got me  i was so infuriated at the review that i did not read the
april fools part, so there is plenty of egg on my face  my full apologies
sir!! HOWEVER!!  blue velvet  and thelma and louise  bad films????????  no
way,  first of all, ridley scott does not make bad films,  he either makes
great films or mediocre films, but bad films  no way , next , blue velvet is
an amazing film, a remarkable classic, which is not to say it isnt
disturbing, it is  very disturbing, but it does certain things to the viewer
along the way which in my humble opinion cause you to re-evaluate the way
you look at every day life, your life, the lives of your friends and
families, how you view society , what your role is in it, but most
importantly david lynch is a master of showing us the every day reality that
we too often ignore, or are in denial about, when you realize just how sick
the world around you really is, and not pretend that you just dont realize
this fact, then you begin to see what david lynch movies tell us, its
amazing to watch one of his movies and peel away the layers and discover
things you only thought you knew, only to be enlightened and amazed at what
has just transpired before your very eyes, any way i wont take up your
valuable time but im sorry i goofed and didnt read the last line of the
review, generally i agree with all your reviews, your site is amazing and
you include some of my favorite films, how about posting a review of  L
Avventura (1960) it just came out on an amazing dvd by criterion, and cries
and whispers (1972) its funny the only review i disagreed with you on was
blue velvet ,other than that you are one hell of an excellent movie critic,
again thanks for your reply you really could of ripped me a new ******** for
being such a moron and not reading the whole review thankfully you had more
class than that, brad r.
