Who do you know that doesn't have something out-of-the-ordinary about them? Maybe the most normal person you know eats his hamburger upsidedown or once owned a life-sized suffed gorilla. But even if you knew someone who was always normal in every possible way, well, then that would just be plain weird. I don't allow user submissions to I Think, because it's important to me that the voice and style of that feature is all my own. But it occurs to me that another good reason not to accept them is that I'd be inundated with emails like this one, an I Think thought so bad it defies comprehension. I get them very rarely, but not rarely enough. I stopped reading them at RinkUnions, because they don't really inspire laughs, just perplexed moans of agony. |
