I have:
a broken sword
a ticket
a life preserver
a stone of strengthening
a rope
a bucket
a dead fish
the key to the idiot's home
pick
the food rations
mask
armor

I can't get in the guard's gate nor get beyond the face painter in the octogon city. Help.

I have no money and have looked and swum everywhere.

I can't get by the wraith, and I am wandering aimlessly.

Thanks for any help or hints.
