First of all, the other inventory items you get depend upon the classes you chose to attend, so they vary with every player. For one of your items, you'll need to wait until the next day to get it. You have all of the other things you'll need at the end.

Have you shown the dinner invitation to Chris yet? If you have, take a quick chow, which will change the time of day in a very creative way.
