From CFN, I managed to pick up a Canadian accent -- everyone at Heidelberg High School thought I was Canadian.

In Naples Itally, where I lived (if you can call that living) from 1990-1993, we only got AFN, and the TV equivelent. This is why I got into comic books, It is also why I became an Eagle Scout in only three years. Absolutly nothing else to do. The only american fast food was a Wendey's on the Navy Base. (for future reffrence Navy Basses are the worst, Army Bases and Air Force Bases are much better) Even the NATO Base (where my Dad worked) was better. I still try to avoid eating at Wendeys (I ha d alife time of Wendeys food in those three years). The worst part was that I was practially cut off from pop culture while I was going through 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Those are pivotal years, I was always geeky but when I got back to the US I was three years behind the times. My freshman year of high school was hell. But thats another story.
