I can't get the crowds amassed as the blacksmith won't let me. Any help would be appreciated....

I have :

8 Bronze Coins
Stone of Strengthening
String
Map

7 Red Gemstones
Food Rations
Key of Opening
Magnifying Glass

1 Black Gemstone
Tinderbox
Clear Focus Stone
Picture

Guard's Sword
Sticks
Hammer
Ring
