Beaker cheese and scalpel

Beaker
Blue Paint
Bottle Cap
Chain

Chalk
Cheese
Coffee Filter
Cup of Tea

Eraser
Glue Stick
Mirror
Perma Tie

Photos of Fashion Show
Scalpel
Slip of Paper
Soldering Iron

Syringe
Wire
Wrench

I also have the
Kid
Cart
Not in iventory

I have 3 questions

1.I can't seem to give the cheese to the librairian. Is it a different item or do I need to do something first?
2.I can't give the beaker as the second item in the potion, so what do I do to it so I can?
3.Can someone tell me where to sharpen that scalpel? I know it has to cut the vending machine but it is too dull.
