ESFM: The Secretaries and the Key

I've finished all the tasks except getting my bag back and getting the hell out of Dodge--Er, St. Mary's. Those awful blue-hairs in the office won't turn away for a quarter of a second, though, and no matter how many times I try, I'm not given the option to bash them with my wrench or set their paperwork on fire. I suppose that would just cause more problems than it'd solve.

I found an earlier post on this topic, wherein the clue given by the ever-awesome Mandi aka Chaos was that the distraction was already in the poster's inventory--he just needed to hand it over. My inventory is as such:

Beaker
Earthworm Sample
Hot-Wiring Instructions
Screwdriver
Wire
Blue Paint
Eraser
Lighter
Screws
Wrench
Bottle Cap
Fire Map
Mirror
Shirt
Chain
Glass Pane
Photos of Fashion Show
Shoes
Chalk
Glue Stick
Rust Eater
Soldering Iron

My inventory only differs from that previous poster's in two ways: I don't have the note about minding the students anymore (I'm not sure who took it; possibly Sister Mabel's gatekeeper), and I don't have the virus'd disk anymore (I gave it back to the older boys after using it).

Thus, my two-fold question is: Do I already have what I need, or do I need to go a-hunting? And, if I already have it, could I please have a nudge on how to use it? Just giving them things isn't making much of an impression, unless I managed to simply skip over the single thing in my inventory i needed while I was trying EVERYTHING.
