That was a bit unfair. I actually quite liked Outlaws. I think all the
adventure games here are great, and I'm not just saying that.
From a storyline standpoint, they're all pretty well written,
except for the Fantasy Quest games, but those aren't meant to
be tightly woven plots, so I can overlook that. Besides, they're
just plain funny.

Anyway, on the subject of POA vs ESM, it depends on what
you're looking for. If you want a better story, and more
challenging puzzles, POA is the game you want. If you want a
game that's different from all the others, ESM is the game you
want.

I would, personally, suggest you play POA after ESM, unless
you're curious about the continuing story of clan Connell, and
want to know about Kendra's brother, Ken, as well as her friends
Silas and Verna (though you'd really have to pay attention to
figure that out).

Anyway, there's my two cents on the issue. Hope it helps.
