In terms of plot enjoyment, it's probably a bit better to play POAT before OAT (PoA and ToA for some of you) because POAT stands on its own, but OAT builds off that a bit, making references to some things from POAT. (In the future, I think the release date ordering will continue to hold -- POAT, OAT, FAF, and finally SOAT would be a good order to play them). > > > What is this 'FAF' you speak of, gremlinn? Is this a game you were working on last year but decided to put on hold so you could focus more on SOAT, or are you still currently working on it?
I worked on it at the end of 2003, then decided it might get too complicated with the tools I had to work with (AGLL). Then after Smash came out I redesigned the core system from scratch but I lost momentum on continuing with it because I couldn't yet come up with a good enough selection of puzzles and a final resolution. Currently it's on hold for a long time. I might do it after SOAT is done, or I might get the inspiration to finish it before then.
