Mr. Anand's game is clearly a great point of confusion on this board, so I've added a hint to the game's "Hints" page that talks about this.

Clarification:

The way the game is set up, you have to have discovered S.P.'s interest in codes, *and* you have to have seen the code itself. But the game doesn't (shouldn't) force you to view these two things in a particular order.

In other words, if you do the latter first, in which case the game does not supply you with additional text identifying the code as being from "S.P.", this should still suffice.

Is this not the behavior you witnessed?


As a footnote unrelated to this particular thread, it's mildly amusing to me that some people were trying to discover the identity of S.P. when the name "Sarah Perera" shows up anytime you select "Read the credits."
