St. Mary's - beaker?

I'm assuming getting the beaker will help me progress further. The "artist" is missing some facial hair, I've tried Agnelo's lousy coin in the machine, and delivered the gold. Also, the syringe is full, and I lit the burner in the chem lab.

There's only one place where I've found a beaker, but my character refuses to take it. Where on campus can I get it, if not there?
