Everything can get back to normal on the forum. I'm about to hit The Trail again. This time it's
Florida. I have to take a scooter to Vero Beach to have it restored. Couldn't I find a restorer closer to home? Maybe. But then I wouldn't be going to Florida. I used to live in Ft. Pierce about 14 miles further south, so I may go see if some of my old haunts are still there. It's been about 50 years. I hope I can get this trip in between storms. The good news is that when the scooter is finished, I can go back again. That should be in the dead of winter. I'm not leaving until Saturday, but I already have the truck loaded. Believe it or not, one scooter and the boxed-up parts to restore it make a full truck load. It's going to cost a truck load of money, too.
I've got one more fun thing to do before I go. My 11-year-old grandson is coming over tomorrow evening with his new telescope. I hope it won't be cloudy.
