I didn't really try to "pad" my word count so to speak, outside of putting "***" between story segments inside the chapters. But that's something I tend to do anyway when I write a story.

Like Selah's, my novel is far from finished... I took a week off after NaNoWriMo was over, but I started up on it again yesterday and I intend to keep working on it until the story is finished. Then, I'll probably go back and re-write the whole thing... I have a vague idea in my head of one day having a personal web site where I'll publish it for people to read.

But that'll be a ways off.
