I think I may have had a concussion once. It was a high school soccer game, and I was just a wee little thing, and the world's largest, most in-chargest female defender found it very necessary to keep me away from the ball. I found myself flying through the air and landing on the back of my bean. It's the first thing that touched the ground. I'm surprised I didn't break my neck, the way I landed. Anyway, I blacked out for a split second, then crawled off the field. Then I took a lot of ibuprofen and played some more in the second half. Anyway, I don't know what it's like to have a concussion, but everything was a little dreamlike for the next few hours.
