FQ 2 ~ South Passage Thru Mountains

OK, I got thru the rusty gate, crossed over bog. Went to Gingerbread House and tried to pour maple syrup over it several times, but old hag keeps putting me in oven. Gave up on her. Now I am at that passage thru the mountains where u try to wedge the iron post in crevice, but it doesn't work. Have gone east, west, north...explored, kicked stones, etc. etc. etc. Here is my inventory:
