Probably some of the more standard and expected things you'd do if you were really in this situation...
...find a discarded plant that'll fit in that pot,
...get your hands bandaged after failing to pick it up and grab it again,
...stow away on a flight down to Akumos for the heck of it,
...check out your quarters, read your e-mail, apply for a Transport Lift card (it'll save your sanity),
...report to the admin office and get your work assignments,
...keep searching for that cat til you've got her somewhere where you can SHUT THE DOOR on her escape route,
...go to the Maintenance Docking Bay once you've got your assignments,
...check out the supply room right across from there to get what you need.
Stuff like that. ;)
