1) Hints work even better when you post the full inventory, not what you haven't got. The fact that you haven't even found the gate to the graveyard from the front lawn makes me wonder if you even have the iron key. (It's actually a forum rule to list the inventory, that's why you're prompted to do so when starting a new topic.)
2) Wander around the front lawn a bit. Acorns are happy things to pick up, especially when confronted with a mad pig.
