1) Forget the dagger, it's served its purpose.
2) The purpose of the couch is to annoy the life out of you.
3) If you've got the coat and the ring, you're done in the garden castle. You may want to try taking a back way out involving the plumbing system. Then go see if you can't take a potentially dangerous leap now that you have the float ring. The oil will come much later.
