I just got a rat a month or two ago, and I've noticed him scratching a lot around his neck area. Lately I've noticed blood around his neck as well. When I pick him up he seems to be in pain as well. I do not know the cause of this and am really concerned. At first I thought it could be an allergic reatcion to the cedder bedding however, the problem still persists after I've taken the bedding out. I have another rat that I got the same time and she is doing just fine. I could really use someone's expertise. Thanks for your time!
