Never said there *was* anything special about Teralt -- merely said that it was good to be rich if I was going to be down there. My character has enough gold by now to make it seem free anyway.

The only thing of note about Teralt is that the equipment shop pays a lot for some things. It's also convenient for a solo character who's trying not to pick up anything before hitting level 10.

I'm not overly concerned with experience by this point either. Got *lots* of that.

Really, if money's an issue, you could always come down from Perrinn -- I believe the inn there is free, and you also fight only a few more (easy) groups of monsters.
