I am stuck battling the valkyrie. my inventory is

6 Red Gemstones
Food Rations
Wire Clippers
Map

4 Black Gemstones
Rope
Key of Opening
Magnifying Glass

Guard's Sword
Tinderbox
Clear Focus Stone
Picture

Stone of Strengthening
Torch
Crate
Sea Nymph

I have tried every option many times with no luck

help?
