That's the problem I've been having with this. The only possible issue I've ever seen raised, in the original quotation or by Cynthia, was one of motivation. It's specifically worded as such. Unless you're into neurochemistry or something, emotions can't be objectively compared. The closest you can get is looking motivation and reaction. If you're not looking at those, the question of "Is the emotion of fear objectively better than love" is a non-issue, lacking in criteria for any possible judgement. It serves only to muddy the water.
