I killed both dragons, one back in my town and the other by the chasm. I tried to get back into town and board the jewel to go up onto the hill, but the captain dude won't let me because I sold my life preserver. And in the chasm, no matter what I try, it doesn't take me anywhere. (I ascend, descend, try all options...)
