Giraffe in FQ2

Okay so I've gotten the giraffe focused n the cave at the other end of the valley, then I tried to cross, and I got to the part where you can do things like pinch his nose, hit him with a bucket and stuff like that, I poured the goo on his nose and stuckthe coin up his nose, but what now? how do I get rid of this thing!!
