I too have experienced having just a number with no description, but it wasn't while playing one of the existing games, it was while testing SOAT. I can't remember for sure what caused it, but I think it might have been a code bug where it was trying to add an enumerated item which was undefined or out of range.

I suppose it's unlikely to be a problem with the game's code, or plenty of other people would have experience it. It's possible, I guess. More likely some server error happened that corrupted your game file. If you don't want to have to start the game over, you could try emailing Sam and asking him to fix it.
