Well, you may still be short a coin if she didn't give you anything else.
You're not going to like this, but remember where she told you to "read everything twice"? If you made it to the third floor of the tower, you must go up there again and "read everything twice." (If you HAVEN'T gotten up to the third floor, you've missed the entire point of the tower.)
You're pretty far along in FQ2, but I'd advise you to set it aside and finish FQ1 first. A lot of the jokes and hints in FQ2 are dependent on FQ1, and playing them out of order, IMO, you're missing out.
